Terms and Conditions for the Integrated AI & Cyber Governance Programme

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all bookings for the Integrated AI & Cyber Programme for Directors ("Workshop") offered by Acoyvis Limited ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Cyber4Directors, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12647153, with registered office at 2nd Floor, 15 Montpelier Vale, London, United Kingdom, SE3 0TA.

Our Programmes include: full-day in-person Workshops (such as the AI & Cyber Workshop for Directors) and multi-session Online Courses (such as the AI & Cyber Summer School for Directors), together our “Programmes” and each a “Programme”. Section 2 sets out terms specific to each format; all other sections apply to both unless stated otherwise. These Programmes are delivered in partnership with Grounded Thinking Ltd.. By completing a booking, you (“you”, “the delegate”) agree to these Terms in full.

Full-day Workshops

Our full-day Workshops are in-person, board-level programmes delivered jointly by Grounded Thinking Ltd and Cyber4Directors (ACOYVIS Limited) at a specified venue.

Please do not book travel or accommodation until you have received formal written confirmation of the Workshop from us. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred prior to such confirmation, and we will not be liable for travel or accommodation costs in any circumstances, unless expressly agreed in writing in advance.

Online Courses

Our Online Courses are delivered live, over multiple sessions, via video conferencing software. You are responsible for having a stable internet connection and a suitable device for the duration of each session. We are not responsible for any disruption caused by your own connectivity or equipment.

Where an Online Course runs across successive sessions, full attendance across all sessions is expected. Sessions are not recorded. If you miss a session, we will offer you a place on the equivalent session of the next occasion we run that course, provided we run it again; this is not guaranteed and no refund or partial refund is given for missed sessions.

Programme details

Specific details of each Programme, including date, time, location or online access details, and programme outline, will be published on the booking page for that event. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted those details.

Booking and Payment

A booking constitutes an offer to attend the Programme. Your place is not confirmed until full payment has been received. No place will be held on the basis of an unconfirmed booking or pending payment.

Payment is due in full at the time of booking. All payments are made to Acoyvis Limited. Prices are as stated on the booking page at the time of booking. Acoyvis Limited is not currently registered for UK VAT, so no VAT is charged on this Programme.

You will receive an email acknowledgement on submission of your booking. Please note this is not confirmation that the Programme will proceed; it is an acknowledgement of your booking request and payment. A full confirmation, including venue or access details, start and finish times, and any preparatory materials, will be sent no later than two weeks before the Programme start date.

Cancellation by the Delegate

All bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, no refund will be issued, regardless of the notice given.

You may transfer your place to a colleague or other named individual, provided you notify us in writing at least seven (7) days before the Programme start date. Substitution requests should be sent to Susanne.Alfs(at)acoyvis.com. It is your responsibility to ensure the substitute has been informed of and accepts these Terms. No more than one substitution per booking will be permitted.

Cancellation or Rescheduling by Us

Our Right to Cancel or Reschedule: We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule any Programme at our discretion. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable.

Your Options: If we cancel a Programme for which payment has been received, you will be offered:

  • a full refund of the amount paid; or

  • a reserved place on the next available date for that Programme.

The choice is yours. We will contact you to arrange the preferred outcome. We will not be liable for any other costs you have incurred in connection with your attendance, including travel or accommodation, unless expressly agreed in writing in advance.
